I've cried twice this week. I do not enjoy this particular part of pregnancy. I have also flown off the handle on three other occasions. My apologies for this now and in advance for any future teary or rude moments I might have. I'm sincerely working on getting a handle on all of this. Or maybe just using it as an excuse to be exceptionally emotional. That would be wrong of me wouldn't it?
Walden, your Slytherin influence might not be such a good thing.

The smell of coffee is absolutely horrifying. No, not horrifying nauseating. Walden, you will be happy to know that I have now vomited on the shoes of two men now. At least it was not you this time around. It just happened, a waft of some disgusting coffee beverage from a shop in Diagon Alley and I was retching over a very surprised man's footwear.
I did give him enough galleons to buy a new pair.
For the foreseeable future I will be avoiding coffee shops. And anything with peppers cooked into it.
When do I get to the part where I get to enjoy food again?

Cleopatra died today, well in 30BC she did. I've always found her to be a particularly interesting historical figure. Though I've always doubted that her beauty was the true source of her power, I attribute that to the authors and their own insecurities. Not that they have any or anything...

Fresh, home grown, tomatoes are absolutely amazing. I am in love with this caprese salad that I fixed for lunch. It reminds me of my honeymoon. Almost- Merlin, four months ago? This olive oil that I had shipped back does that little bit extra as well.
Did I just honestly talk about a salad for nearly an entire paragraph
I think this afternoon calls for returning to some Runes. It's been too long since I picked up any of my work and even something as simple as a casting sounds deliciously entertaining.

If they don't do something about this place I know a minister that won't be getting my vote in the next round of elections. Innocent people getting... mauled. Just because you are at work does not mean you should be subject to such a dangerous environment. Clearly a change is required.

Since boredom is potentially catching I think I must do something to nip this in the bud. It of course means two things either I start setting up dear Alecto on any number of blind dates until she is blissfully married or I suppose I could put myself to work. In honor of your sanity Alecto, I will opt for the second and limit it to charitable works.
If I could stand the sight of blood I would volunteer at St. Mungo's however I don't think such a thing would turn out well for anyone involved. I think perhaps something involving children. There is the obligatory they are our future comment to be made but they are also just adorable and not in a position to help themselves.

I can hardly believe that in less than two days we'll be back in England. Italy has been phenomenal and I wonder if it is wrong of me to stay that I'm not certain that I wish to return home just yet. But life does call I suppose. I have some lovely souvenirs to pass off when I get home so be expecting owls soon. I also expect that I'll have a mountain of thank you cards to attend to when I get back as well. Much deserved thank you cards at that.
For the record though, at this moment I am sunburned, a few pounds heavier due to massive Gelato consumption, and have blisters on my feet but they are entirely worth it for everything that I've seen.

I only have a few moments but I wanted to extend an informal thank you to everyone who attended the festivities on Saturday. Without you it would not have been such a wonderful affair. I hope to speak for Walden as well when I say we appreciated your presence and congratulations.
I will see everyone again in a little less than two weeks now I believe, though I can admit to being at a loss for time anymore. I will leave you with one of the few photos I've managed to take so far.
